Le Parti libéral du Québec est au pouvoir avec Jean Charest (Premier ministre), Line Beauchamp (Ministre de l’éducation), Michelle Courchesne (remplacente Ministre de l’éducation), Raymond Bachand (Ministre des finances). Après les élections du 4 septembre 2012, le Parti Libéral perd les élections et Premier ministre Charest est défaite dans sa propre circonscription. La grève étudiante lui vole sa place au parlement et ses électeurs lui font un bye bye!
